TRUE BELIEVERS

Romans 2:29 No, a true Jew is one whose heart is right with God. And true circumcision is not merely obeying the letter of the law; rather, it is a change of heart produced by the Spirit. And a person with a changed heart seeks praise from God, not from people.

It is not enough to say you are a believer. There are indicators that show you are a true believer according to the word of God.  A true believer is one whose heart is right with God. 1 Samuel 16:7 But the Lord said to Samuel, "Do not look at his appearance or at the height of his stature, because I have refused him. For the Lord does not see as man sees;  for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart." It is God who called you not a man. To be true in the eyes of God should be your top priority and it will be possible when you work on your heart. God is not impressed with your outward His interest is your heart.

When you say you have repented is not a ritual of don't and do. True repentance comes from a broken and contrite spirit. If your heart is right with God your greatest desire will be to seek His will and His praises, not the praises of men. The praises of men are temporal, comparative and sometimes bring discontentment. 1 Samuel 18:7 So the women sang as they danced, and said: "Saul has slain his thousands, And David his ten thousands." King Saul depended on the praises of the people and when they failed to praise him, he became a bitter soul and missed out on the will of God. As a true believer, your goal for life is to have a heart that is right with God and seeks praise from Him. When you do all these well you will hear good and faithful servant.

Prayer: Holy Spirit purify my heart and give me a heart that is right with God. I repent from seeking the praises of men. I live to fulfil your will for my life and to seek your praises in Jesus' name. Amen
