IT CAN BE DESTROYED

1 Samuel 5:7  When the people realized what was happening, they cried out, “We can’t keep the Ark of the God of Israel here any longer! He is against us! We will all be destroyed along with Dagon, our god.”

Anything that is man-made can be destroyed. That is why no one has to worship anything that humans have made with their hands. Even God objects to the worship of His creation and how much more things that are created with human hands.  Romans 1:22-25 Professing to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man--and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.

Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonour their bodies among themselves, who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshipped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Dagon was the God of Philistines and they captured the ark of God and brought it into the temple of god because God has forsaken His people because of their sins. Then the ark of God entered the temple of Dagon it was destroyed. Beloved you don't have to worship anything that cannot stand the presence of God. If it can be destroyed by God then it is not worthy of worship.

Prayer: Lord Jesus Christ I repent of any idol worship. Forgive and cleanse me with your blood as I commit myself to worshipping you only. Amen.
