REDEMPTION

Ruth 4:14-15 Then the women of the town said to Naomi, “Praise the Lord, who has now provided a redeemer for your family! May this child be famous in Israel. May he restore your youth and care for you in your old age. For he is the son of your daughter-in-law who loves you and has been better to you than seven sons!”

After the death of Naomi's husband and children, her family lost their redeeming rights. They had to be redeemed by another person. The fall of our earthly parents Adam and Eve led to eternal death. All humans also lost the right to redeem. Boaz became the redeemer of Naomi's family. Jesus Christ came to redeem us from the curse of the law and sin "Praise the Lord". Everybody is excited about redemption because it takes away your shame and reproach. God is the provider of a redeemer. The women of the town said, Praise the lord, who has now provided a redeemer for your family! John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. God has provided Jesus Christ to all for our redemption. There is great rejoicing in heaven when one soul accepts the gift of redemption. You have been redeemed to redeem others.

Prayer: Father I thank you for sending Jesus Christ to redeem me and also to redeem others. Your name be praised. Amen.
