HOW TO CONQUER EVIL

Romans 12:20-21 Instead, “If your enemies are hungry, feed them. If they are thirsty, give them something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals of shame on their heads.” Don’t let evil conquer you, but conquer evil by doing good.

We have tried fighting evil with peace talks, negotiations, physical battles, revenge and so on but evil is still prevalent in society. Jesus Christ set the premises for us to fight evil. When He came into an evil world the only thing He brought as a weapon against evil is the Good News. The Good News has wreaked more havoc in the Kingdom of Darkness than any weapon of war would have done. Evil is still prevalent because we find it difficult to use Jesus' strategy. It is not simple at all and it does appeal to the human mind. Matthew 5:38-39 Eye for eye, tooth for tooth was producing more blind and toothless people.  "You have heard that it was said,  An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth. But I tell you not to resist an evil person. But whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other to him also. We conquer evil by doing good, not evil.

Prayer: Holy Spirit touch my heart and give every grace I need to forgive and go repay evil with God in Jesus' name. Amen.
