UNMUTE JESUS

Acts 13:10 Then he said, “You son of the devil, full of every sort of deceit and fraud, and enemy of all that is good! Will you never stop perverting the true ways of the Lord?

When Jesus Christ said it is finished, He meant what He said. He had finished His life course. His finishing point is our starting point. On the Cross of Calvary Jesus Christ gave humanity a fresh start to run a new course based on His finished work. Paul ending his ministry had this to say 2 Timothy 4:7-8 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have remained faithful. And now the prize awaits me—the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give me on the day of his return.

And the prize is not just for me but for all who eagerly look forward to his appearing. To win the crown there are three things involved; fighting a good fight, running a race and remaining faithful unto death. Jesus Christ went through these three processes to get a crown and to be seated at the right hand of the Father. Jesus has finished His assignment there is on mute but working through us.

All that Jesus Christ lived to do on earth will never be replicated unless believers rise and act. In the new testament, the four gospels contain the acts of Jesus Christ.  After those chapters were closed the following chapters were about the acts of the Apostles and the acts of other great believers. The stage is set for the world to see our acts according to the scripts given to us by Jesus Christ.

Beloved you cannot afford to be mute. In Acts thirteen, Jesus had been muted by sorcerer Barjesus in the township of Paphos until Paul arrived in the city to speak up for Jesus Christ. The voice of charlatans will continue to be echoed until we speak up. We mute the influence of the devil when we speak up and stand up for Jesus Christ. You have been quiet for long, arise as the mouthpiece of God and mute the voice of the devil.

Prayer: Holy Spirit give me the boldness to speak about Jesus Christ where ever I find myself. Empower my voice to mute the force of darkness and to bring many unto Jesus Christ.  Amen.
