MANY BELONG TO GOD

Acts 18:9 -10 "One night the Lord spoke to Paul in a vision and told him, “Don’t be afraid! Speak out! Don’t be silent! For I am with you, and no one will attack and harm you, for many people in this city belong to me.”

Fear is falsity in the ear. False information heard registers fear in a person. Can you imagine the Apostle Paul being fearful? After all that he had seen and been through for God, Apostle Paul was fearful. Why? False information had been registered in his mind.

We have been raised to treat truth as an option: true or false, truth or lie? But this does not apply to our walk with God. In God, Truth is a person. That person is Jesus Christ --He is the way the truth and the life. He is faithful and true. His words are Yes and Amen. God is always telling us not to be fearful because He has given us a word that cancels out falsity and establishes truth in our lives.

God told Paul, "Speak! Don't be silent." Beloved you have to speak; you cannot afford to be silent. In your family, workplace, neighbourhood, tribe and nation, many belong to the Lord Jesus Christ, and it is your speaking that will bring their salvation. We are quiet because we fear we will be harmed or rejected.

Your security is already in place. God is with you. Many around you belong to Jesus Christ. What do we speak about? Jesus Christ! Enough of the political, economic and social talk that does not win them for Jesus Christ. Speak the word!

Prayer: Holy Spirit give me the boldness to speak about Jesus Christ, that many who belong to God shall come to Him through my message. In Jesus' name. Amen.
