THE MYSTERY OF BEING A CHILD OF GOD

Acts 5:40-41 The others accepted his advice. They called in the apostles and had them flogged. Then they ordered them never again to speak in the name of Jesus, and they let them go. The apostles left the high council rejoicing that God had counted them worthy to suffer disgrace for the name of Jesus.

Being a child of God is royalty but never compare the royalty to that of earthly royalty. God sent His beloved Son Jesus Christ to live here on earth for thirty- three years. When the royal of Heaven came to the earth and lived among men, how did He live? How was treated and how did His life end? The life Jesus Christ lived on earth is an example for heaven royals living on earth to follow. Look at a few things that happen to Royal Jesus Christ while He lived on earth. Let's take a look at birth. No earthly king will permit and allow that his only child be born in a manger. But God Almighty deem it fit that His beloved Son Jesus Christ on earth be born in a manger.

What is the lesson in this? Here on earth God's children or heaven's royals have humble beginnings. Search through the scriptures no child of God started from the top. Joseph came from prison to be a prime minister, and David moved from a shepherd boy to a king. Job who had great wealth at a point had to lose it and rely on God to begin humbly. Here on earth kingdom, royals start from humble beginnings.  We can also look at His life and ministry while on earth. While Jesus lived here on earth His life and teaching were different from that of the people of His days the Jews.

His teaching beliefs and association were different. He did not conform to their standards He confronted them. Romans 12:2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Any child of God who is comfortable with the world's system should question their stance again. The final thing we want to talk about is His death and resurrection. Beloved how God's children die is one of the most confusing situations in our walk with God.

But in your confusion ask yourself how did the beloved Son of God die? Believers die mysterious deaths, in accidents, earthquakes, murder cases and other strange ways. Where is God? Whichever way a believer dies the most important thing and the game changer is what they died in. Revelation 14:13 Then I heard a voice from heaven saying to me,  "Write: `Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.` " "Yes," says the Spirit, "that they may rest from their labors, and their works follow them." Your body can tear apart but once you die in the Lord your resurrection is assured. Don't be dismayed and worried in life child of God.  It is well with you.

Prayer: Holy Spirit give me understanding as I live my days on earth on how to appreciate how God instructs me. Give me every grace I need to faithfully walk with my God in Jesus' name. Amen.
