THE GENERIC MESSAGE

Acts 20:20 -21 I never shrank back from telling you what you needed to hear, either publicly or in your homes. I have had one message for Jews and Greeks alike—the necessity of repenting from sin and turning to God, and of having faith in our Lord Jesus.

During our time on earth, social rank and class are important. But these things won't matter in eternity. Jesus Christ demonstrated that everyone, rich or poor, who obeys God would go to the same place in heaven in the story of the rich man and Lazarus. When he was alive, Father Abraham, a man with tremendous wealth on earth, had poor Lazarus laying in his bosom. I'm positive that there were people in hell who belonged to the same social class as Lazarus on earth sharing the same destination with the rich guy.

There are some things that all people have in common, such as the birthing process that all humans go through. Second, how and where we shall die and spend all of eternity. Rich people's heaven and poor people's heaven, as well as rich people's hell and poor people's hell, do not exist in our world. In eternity, people from all social classes on earth will have an equal fate. God has also made a universally saving message available in light of this.

This message offers a single path for the rebirth of all people from various social classes, tribes, and countries. Everyone needs to be born again via the message of the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. The way each person responds to the gospel will decide their eternal destiny.  So neither the rich man's gospel nor the poor man's gospel exist here on earth.

While the method of reaching people may differ, all are proclaimed the same message. And this is the word that is spread from generation to generation to the rich and the poor, the educated and the uneducated, the foolish and the wise, men and women, single and married, black or white, young and elderly. Turn away from your sin, turn to God, and put your faith in our Lord Jesus. Have you fully accepted the message?

Prayer: Lord Jesus Christ I come to you just as I am. I believe and receive Jesus Christ in my life as Lord and Saviour. Help me to live a relevant life here and give me eternal rest in Jesus' name. Amen.
