THE TREASURE KEY

Isaiah 33:6 He will be the sure foundation for your times, a rich store of salvation and wisdom and knowledge; the fear of the LORD is the key to this treasure.

In building the foundation is very key. It carries the weight of the structure. The longevity of any building depends on the foundation. In our time there is a sure foundation, not made of bricks and mortar but that foundation is a personality. 1 Corinthians 3:11 For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the foundation of our times. Everything you want to build must be upon His foundation. You must build your spiritual, social, emotional and physical life upon His foundation. What is His foundation? The foundations of Jesus Christ are His teachings. He taught how to gain eternal life, prosperity, relationship, investments, marriage, forgiveness and many more. It simply means if you are building in terms of eternity, marriage, business, education and so on, it should be based on His teachings. Let's look at a few of the foundations He gave us. Matthew 5:27-28 "You have heard that it was said, ’You shall not commit adultery.’ I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart. Matthew 6:33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. John 15:12 My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Apart from Jesus Christ being your foundation. He is a rich store of salvation. In His salvation, you can find anything, redemption, healing, forgiveness, restoration, purity, prosperity and limitless possibilities. With God all things are possible. All you need to do is to come to Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is your wisdom and knowledge in these times. Wisdom is divine is given. Therefore if anyone lacks wisdom let him or her ask God. Ephesians 1:17 I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. Pray that you will gain Godly wisdom and knowledge.
All we have talked about today are the treasures of life according to the word of God. Matthew 6:20 -21 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.
For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. The key to this treasure is the fear of God. If you don't fear God you cannot have His treasures.

Prayer: Holy Spirit stir in me the spirit of the fear of God at all times. Jesus Christ, I desire to know you better, come into my heart that I may walk in your foundations in your Holy name I pray. Amen.
