AVOID THE INHERITANCE OF THE WICKED

Isaiah 34:16-17 Search the book of the Lord, and see what he will do. He will not miss a single detail. Not one of these birds and animals will be missing, and none will lack a mate, for the Lord has promised this. His Spirit will make it all come true.  He has surveyed and divided the land and deeded it over to those creatures. They will possess it forever, from generation to generation.

Proverbs 13:22 A good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children, But the wealth of the sinner is stored up for the righteous. It is good that parents leave an inheritance for their children but how they got this inheritance is very important. Some inheritances are ill-gained and it brings curses to those who get them. The land of Edom is a cursed possession, God had declared that the land will be deserted and left for animals to graze over. You should not only be excited about the fact that a property has been willed to your name, but you also have to be concerned about the legitimacy of your inheritance. You can inherit things that will bring pain and burdens to you. The descendants of Edom never enjoyed peace in their land because it was cursed by God.
Some of us have inherited things cursed by widows, the poor, orphans, possessions acquired by the blood of the innocent, and some people were killed for your family to have that inheritance. Avoid such inheritance it will only bring you pains and cures; you will be better off without them. Proverbs 10:2 Ill-gotten treasures have no lasting value, but righteousness delivers from death.

Acts 1:18-20 Now this man Judas Iscariot purchased a field with the wages of iniquity; and falling headlong, he burst open in the middle and all his entrails gushed out. And it became known to all those dwelling in Jerusalem; so that field is called in their own language, Akel Dama, that is, Field of Blood. “For it is written in the Book of Psalms: ‘Let his dwelling place be desolate, And let no one live in it’; and, ‘Let another take his office.’ To date no that field Judas bought is desolate. Judas Iscariot had family members who could claim ownership of the Land but they understood the repercussions of doing that. If you are enjoying ill-gotten treasure look for the true owners and make peace with them and give to them that which is due them. Don't fall into the error of your ancestors. Proverbs 10:22 The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it. Return the ill-gotten treasures and inheritance to the rightful owners to experience the blessings of God devoid of any pain and sorrow. Hallelujah, Amen.

Prayer: Holy Spirit give me the boldness to step out to give back to the innocent what is due them. As I do this remember me in your manifold of mercy and bless me beyond measure in Jesus' name. Amen.
