THE PURPOSE OF YOUR SALVATION

Isaiah 42:6-7 "I, the Lord, have called you to demonstrate my righteousness. I will guard and support you, for I have given you to my people as the personal confirmation of my covenant with them. And you will be a light to guide all nations to me. You will open the eyes of the blind and free the captives from prison. You will release those who sit in dark dungeon.

The call of God is not for you to share your philosophy, and idiosyncrasies, settle personal scores with anyone or prove anything. 1 Corinthians 3:11 For no one can lay any other foundation than the one we already have—Jesus Christ. The call is to demonstrate the righteousness of God. Romans 3:21-24 But now apart from the law the righteousness of God has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify. This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference between Jew and Gentile, for all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.

You are God's testimony and covenant to the fact that Jesus Christ does not condemn any sinner because you were once a sinner. 1 Timothy 1:15 Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners —of whom I am the worst. You have not been saved not to linger in darkness but to be a light. Isaiah 60:1 - 2"Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you. See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the LORD rises upon you and his glory appears over you. Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn. The light you have is Jesus Christ. Anywhere you find yourself let that light shine. John 8:12 When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life." Your light as a believer leads many to eternal life and personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Don't be afraid as a believer to pray for the sick, cast out demons and to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ, it is in your DNA to do that, it is not for a selected few.  Mark 16:17-18 These signs will accompany those who believe: They will cast out demons in my name, and they will speak new languages. They will be able to handle snakes safely, and if they drink anything poisonous, it won't hurt them. They will be able to place their hands on the sick and heal them. " Have you believed? If yes arise and do that which the Lord has commanded you to do and see signs and wonders follow you.

Prayer:  And now, O Lord, hear their threats, and give your servants great boldness in their preaching.  Send your healing power; may miraculous signs and wonders be done through the name of your holy servant Jesus."
