THERE IS NONE LIKE IT

1Samuel 21:9 The priest replied, "The sword of Goliath the Philistine, whom you killed in the Valley of Elah, is here; it is wrapped in a cloth behind the ephod. If you want it, take it; there is no sword here but that one." David said, "There is none like it; give it to me."

David out of haste fleeing from the presence of king Saul forgot to take a sword or a spear. It was in the house of God that he asked the priest for a sword. The only sword available in the temple was the sword of Goliath the Philistine David. David gladly received it and confessed there is none like it. The sword represents the word of God in our daily lives. Ephesians 6:17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Sometimes out of fear, pressure, worries, and the anxieties of life we move through life without our sword which is the word. Walking through life without your weapon of warfare is dangerous and it exposes to enemy attack. David had to pause, and recollect that he was traveling without a sword. You and I also need a pause in our lives to go back to God's word. There is none like it. Nothing can be compared to God's word. The word of God is the greatest weapon of all times. It creates, destroys, pierces, heals, encourages, it accomplishes every assignment is given. It does not miss a target. Isaiah 55:11 so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.
You cannot navigate through life with this weapon. Is not something you can ignore or forget. Pause, and go back to God's word for there none life it and it will sought you out through all your journey in life.

Prayer: Holy Spirit remind me of the word of God. Give me insight into it as I carry it as my greatest weapon in life in Jesus' name. Amen
