THE UNFINISHED BUSINESS

Revelation 3:2-4 Wake up! Strengthen what remains and is about to die, for I have found your deeds unfinished in the sight of my God. Remember, therefore, what you have received and heard; hold it fast, and repent. But if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what time I will come to you.

Christians that fall in the category of the Sardis church have unfinished business with the Lord Jesus Christ. They are living dead. Revelation 3:1 "To the angel of the church in Sardis write: These are the words of him who holds the seven spirits of God and the seven stars. I know your deeds; you have a reputation of being alive, but you are dead. On the outside, they seem very ok as believers but what they have the Lord Jesus calls dead works. Dead works is when you pleasing people but not God.
Romans 12:1 Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God —this is your true and proper worship. Whatever you are using your body for should be pleasing to God and is only reasonable that we do that. There is hope for all who fall in this category that we should wake up, and strengthen what is about to die. The Lord calls us unto repentance.

Prayer: Holy Spirit give me strength to raise from dead works in Jesus's name. Amen.
