REMEMBER YOUR FIRST LOVE

Revelation 2:2-4 I know your deeds, your hard work, and your perseverance. I know that you cannot tolerate wicked people, that you have tested those who claim to be apostles but are not, and have found them false. You have persevered and have endured hardships for my name, and have not grown weary. Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken the love you had at first.

God knows all you have given for the gospel's sake and his kingdom's sake. He knows what you have endured and what you have tolerated. God knows about all the false teachers and their teachings you have rejected because of sound doctrine. He knows the state of your heart when you believed and he knows the state of your heart now. To those of us who belong to the category of believers in the Church of Ephesus, God has this against us, that we have forsaken the love we had at first.  Remember those things you did when you first believed and walk in them.

Prayer: Holy Spirit help me walk in the ways of love through Christ Jesus. Amen.
