WHY YOU ARE ENVIED BY THE DEVIL

1 Samuel 12:20-22 "Do not be afraid," Samuel replied. "You have done all this evil, yet do not turn away from the LORD, but serve the LORD with all your heart.
Do not turn away after useless idols. They can do you no good, nor can they rescue you, because they are useless. For the sake of his great name, the LORD will not reject his people, because the LORD was pleased to make you his own.

One of the devil's tricks is that when you offend God, he does not you to reconcile with Him. Therefore he keeps accusing you and makes you carry the burden of guilt. Revelation 12:10 Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say: "Now have come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Messiah. For the accuser of our brothers and sisters, who accuses them before our God day and night, has been hurled down.
That is the nature of the devil he accuses us before God. One thing he envies about us is the privilege God has given to us to repent when we offend Him. The devil did not get the opportunity of repentance, the moment he rebelled God threw him out of His presence and that was it. He is a fugitive until now. The devil does not want you and I to access what he was denied. Don't turn away from the Lord Jesus Christ when you fall into error. You were made in the image and likeness of God and He sent His only Son Christ Jesus to die that you might have life. His death on the cross catered for our past, present, and future sins. The devil has nothing good for you, he can never rescue you. Do not turn away from the Lord. Remember from where you have fallen; confess your flaws and repent and God will gladly accept you because the LORD is pleased to make you his own.

Prayer: Lord Jesus I confess my flaws and repent of them. I pledge to serve you with all my heart. Grant me the grace to walk with you to the very end. Amen.
