THE BLOOD OF MY DELIVERANCE

1Samuel 7:8-9 They said to Samuel, "Do not stop crying out to the LORD our God for us, that he may rescue us from the hand of the Philistines."  Then Samuel took a suckling lamb and sacrificed it as a whole burnt offering to the LORD. He cried out to the LORD on Israel’s behalf, and the LORD answered him.

In the previous verses, Samuel had gathered the people unto a fast for the confession of their sins against God. It was in the process that their enemies the Philistines sought to attack them. Then they urged Samuel on not to stop praying for them. Can you imagine sinners asking for prayers? But that is how faithful our God is. He said I did not come for the sake of the righteous but for sinners. That is why even on the cross a condemned thief could be saved. But when it comes to sin the is only one thing that deals with sin. Hebrews 9:22 In fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness. Samuel took a lamb and sacrificed and the Lord heard his people. Jesus Christ is the lamb that was sacrificed before the foundation of the earth. The blood of lamb shed did not only forgive their sin but it came them power over their enemies. When God sees you have the covering of the blood of His dear Son Jesus Christ He has no option but to deliver you. He says when the death angel comes close and they see the blood, they will pass over, when destruction is coming upon a whole nation and you have the covering of the blood you shall be delivered ask Rehab of Jericho. The blood of Jesus Christ is for your deliverance.

Prayer: Jesus Christ that you for shedding your blood that forgives my sins and brings me deliverance. The blood of my deliverance deliver from all evil in Jesus' name. Amen
