PASSING ON GODLY FAMILY HERITAGE

1 Samuel 9:20 As for the donkeys you lost three days ago, do not worry about them; they have been found. And to whom is all the desire of Israel turned, if not to you and your whole family line?"

Some destroy godly family foundations and there those who keep them for generations to come. An example of such men in the Bible includes Abraham who transferred his godly principles throughout his generation. Therefore is written the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Caleb and Joshua also brought their family into greatness and maintained overages. Genesis 50:24 Then Joseph said to his brothers, "I am about to die. But God will surely come to your aid and take you up out of this land to the land he promised on oath to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob." Joshua and Caleb also brought their family line into greatness. Numbers 13:30 Then Caleb silenced the people before Moses and said, "We should go up and take possession of the land, for we can certainly do it." Men and women who maintain these godly family heritage do so by totally obeying God and holding on to the promises of God amid difficulties, challenges, and doubts. King Saul by his act of disobedience cut of his family line from royalty. 1Samuel 15:11 "I regret that I have made Saul king because he has turned away from me and has not carried out my instructions." Samuel was angry, and he cried out to the LORD all that night.
Those who cut off their family line from God's divine blessing are those who disobey God. As for negative family line patterns God has commanded us to destroy but the godly is for us to hold on to the promises of God and to pass them on to generations unborn.

Prayer: In Jesus' name I destroy wrong bloodline patterns, grant Grace Lord to walk in total obedience to you to lay hold of the promises of God concerning my life and generation yet unborn in Jesus' name. Amen.
