HIS PRESENCE AS A WEAPON

1 Samuel 5:2-4 Then they carried the ark into Dagon’s temple and set it beside Dagon. When the people of Ashdod rose early the next day, there was Dagon, fallen on his face on the ground before the ark of the LORD! They took Dagon and put him back in his place. But the following morning when they rose, there was Dagon, fallen on his face on the ground before the ark of the LORD! His head and hands had been broken off and were lying on the threshold; only his body remained.

God's presence is a weapon of war against the enemy. Dagon could not stand the presence of God, it fell. It fell flat on its face with broken legs and hands. Whatever situation is confronting you can also be brought low by the presence of God. The presence of God is for your advantage. That what makes people and nations fear and reverence your God. His presence also brings you rest. Exodus 33:14-15 The LORD replied, "My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest." Then Moses said to him, "If your Presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here. You don't move without his presence, you can't survive without His presence. You need His presence anytime and anywhere. That is why Jesus Christ has been given unto us as His presence. He is Emmanuel, God with us.

Prayer: Lord Jesus I deploy your presence to go before me to fight every battle in my life in Jesus' name. Amen.
