TAKING THE SECURED ROUTE

Proverbs 10:9 Whoever walks in integrity walks securely, but whoever takes crooked paths will be found out.

To walk safely means to be protected by the Almighty, holding onto one's integrity is what the Lord is pleased with, He in turn ensures we are safe. However, anyone who doesn't hold on to his integrity and uses crooked paths will slip and fall. 

A person with integrity demonstrates sound moral and ethical principles and does the right thing, no matter who's watching. To have integrity means that a person is self-aware, accountable, responsible, and truthful and that their actions are internally consistent with the word of God.

It's important to stay true and be honest, hold on to the Lord's teaching this will complete our integrity without it we fall as prey for the devil.

A Man’s integrity will be their security and a man's compromise will be his insecurity. Integrity faces great opposition therefore it is a rare trait in humanity. In the Bible men who held on to their integrity did not get it easy at all. Joseph was sent to prison because of his integrity when he refused to have a sexual affair with his master's wife.

Genesis 39:7-39 and after a while, his master’s wife took notice of Joseph and said, "Come to bed with me!" But he refused. "With me in charge," he told her, "my master does not concern himself with anything in the house; everything he owns he has entrusted to my care. No one is greater in this house than I am. My master has withheld nothing from me except you because you are his wife. How then could I do such a wicked thing and sin against God?" 

After prison, Joseph was exalted to a prime minister in Egypt. Integrity comes with some level of persecution but in the end, it pays off. When Sampson compromised Deliah found out his strength and in the end, he died with his enemies in the enemy's land. Saul was found out when he visited the witch of Endo. Judas was found out to be a thief. You will be found out soon if you don't repent from your crooked ways. If you lose your guard on integrity you will die in sin. Compromising is a wicked thing in the sight of God.

Be a person of integrity and your life will forever be secured.

Prayer: Thank you Father for your Word, it's my prayer this day that Your grace will abound always towards me so that I walk in integrity all the days of my life in Jesus name Amen.
