GAIN THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD

Proverbs 2:3-5 indeed, if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding,

 and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure,  then you will understand the fear of the LORD and find the knowledge of God.

Wisdom is not found on a silver platter. You need to cry out for it and you need to dig deep to find it. Crying out for it means to pray to God for wisdom. 

Jeremiah 33:3 ’Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.’

 In prayer, God reveals His deep secrets to you. Daniel displayed a high level of wisdom when he was able to tell the king Nebuchadnezzar his dream and the interpretation thereof. 

Daniel 2:18-19 He urged them to plead for mercy from the God of heaven concerning this mystery so that he and his friends might not be executed with the rest of the wise men of Babylon. During the night the mystery was revealed to Daniel in a vision. Then Daniel praised the God of heaven. One way to acquire wisdom is through prayers. 

Understanding comes by asking questions and reading. Keep asking for explanations until you understand it. Those who pray and dig deep to find knowledge truly fear God and reverence Him.

Jeremiah 9:24 but let the one who boasts boast about this: that they have the understanding to know me, that I am the LORD, who exercises kindness, justice, and righteousness on earth, for in these I delight," declares the LORD.

Prayer: Father I ask for the grace to pray and the power to search into the deep things of God in Jesus mighty name Amen.
