MEN OF HONOR

proverbs 5:15-19 Drink water from your own cistern, running water from your own well. Should your springs overflow in the streets, your streams of water in the public squares. Let them be yours alone, never to be shared with strangers. May your fountain be blessed, and may you rejoice in the wife of your youth. A loving doe, a graceful deer — may her breasts satisfy you always, may you ever be intoxicated with her love.

Our theme for yesterday was about strange women. Just as we have strange women we have strange men too. Strange men do not regard the word of God. They walk in their own understanding and pride themselves in their material possession and wealth. They simply can't be advised. They have an indiscriminate sexual relationship. They don't respect their families. They marry and cheat on their wives, they are not responsible fathers and young men. When in a relationship they lead the women to go against the word of the Lord. Strange men destroy homes and altar the destiny of lives yet unborn. 

May God deliver our generation from strange men.  Men of honor live a life contrary to strange men. They lay down their lives for others. They establish trans generational covenants with the Lord and live responsible lives pleasing to God and humanity. In relationships and marriage, they rule with God's word. 

 Genesis 18:18-19 Seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him? For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.

Prayer: Father we pray that in our generation you will raise men of honor who will have covenants with you and lead their generation to live for God in Jesus mighty name Amen.
