THE SECOND BIRTH

John 3:6-7 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I said to you, You must be born again.

Your first birth resulted from the fertilization of your mum's egg and the semen from your dad to produce a human being with their DNA connect to the bloodline of Adam and Eve which bears a sinful nature. Romans 5:15a But there is a great difference between Adam’s sin and God’s gracious gift. For the sin of this one man, Adam, brought death to many. The first birth from your parents gives you human life but to have the life of God, you must be born again. 

John 3:6 Humans can reproduce only human life, but the Holy Spirit gives birth to spiritual life. The second birthday was first demonstrated by the birth of Jesus Christ showing us the way we are birthed by God.  Luke 1:34-35 Mary asked the angel, “But how can this happen? I am a virgin.” The angel replied, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the baby to be born will be holy, and he will be called the Son of God.

Do not be deceived without the second birth you cannot be a child of God, you remain the child of your parents.
The life-giving Sperm at your second birth is the Holy Spirit and the egg He mates with is Jesus Christ. The moment you decide to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, as your confession is going on, mating is occurring between the Holy Spirit and Jesus Christ to give eternal life, the Spirit life, the life of God that makes a child of life.

1 John 3:1a Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. Jesus said to the renowned religious teacher Nicodemus do not marvel that I said to you, You must be born again. He is saying this to you also; no matter who you are been born again is not an option is a must. Are you born again?

Prayer: Holy Spirit, right now I believe in Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour. I know by this confession am a child of God and have entered into kingdom covenant and privileges. Thank you Jesus Christ for saving me.
