THE ESSENCE OF COMING INTO HIS PRESENCE

Deuteronomy 1:6-7 “When we were at Mount Sinai, the lord our God said to us, ‘You have stayed at this mountain long enough.  It is time to break camp and move on. Go to the hill country of the Amorites and to all the neighbouring regions—the Jordan Valley, the hill country, the western foothills, the Negev, and the coastal plain. Go to the land of the Canaanites and to Lebanon, and all the way to the great Euphrates River.

Mount Sinai was the venue where Moses tarried with God for forty days for a second time to receive from God the laws that will govern the people of Israel. The first forty days of waiting were unfruitful because  Moses crashed the tablets upon which God wrote with His own hands the laws when he saw the people worshipping the golden calf.

It is a good and pleasant thing to stay in the presence of God to enquire of the Lord, worship Him and have fellowship with other believers. Psalms 133:1-2 Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brethren to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious oil upon the head, Running down on the beard, The beard of Aaron, Running down on the edge of his garments. God expects us to come into His presence to receive from Him how to live.

After that He except us to leave with what we have received from Him to influence our lives and the world at Large. When we come to God we receive insight and inspiration that causes us to move on. When the people of Isreal were leaving Sinai it was not just a people leaving, the law of God was also moving. Go to the hill country of the Amorites and to all the neighbouring regions—the Jordan Valley, the hill country, the western foothills, the Negev, and the coastal plain. Go to the land of the Canaanites and to Lebanon, and all the way to the great Euphrates River.

Whenever an Israelite is found the law was present. In your family, home, neighbourhood, on your social media handles, workplace and so one, when you appear the word of God must appear. Don't leave God's behind God's word when you go into His presence. Leave with the word and reach many with the word. That is the essence of entering into His presence.

Prayer: Father I thank you for the privilege to come into your presence to recieve from you. Holy Spirit constantly remind me to live and move with the word anywhere I go in Jesus' name. Amen.
