THE HOLY JEALOUSY

Zechariah 8:2-3 This is what the LORD Almighty says: "I am very jealous for Zion; I am burning with jealousy for her." This is what the LORD says: "I will return to Zion and dwell in Jerusalem. Then Jerusalem will be called the Faithful City, and the mountain of the LORD Almighty will be called the Holy Mountain."

When God said He was jealous for Zion, it was a time when they had sinned and were under the bondage of their oppressors. God is not happy with the way sin is treating you, He is on a rescue mission for your sake.

Sin is harassing many people. It has held many in the captivity of unforgiveness leading to bitterness, drug addictions, sex slaves, arm robbery, murders and all forms of social vices. God sees the way the devil controls the minds of these people and He is jealous. No! My children called by my name, created in my image and likeness cannot be slaves forever. This is what the LORD Almighty says: "I am very jealous for Zion; I am burning with jealousy for her." The way you treat yourself with sex toys, the way you trade your body for money, the sleepless nights you have with demons, the way you struggle with addiction, the way alcohol and drugs control your walking, and the way you enjoy secular music is bothering God. God is jealous of your romance with the devil. In recent times we will say He is bleeding. He is God Almighty; you should be hanging out with Him, not the devil.

God knows better, He is a wise and good God. You don't treat jealousy with questions, naggings and complaints. Why are you not doing this and that, you don't call me these days, am not getting your attention. We treat jealousy by outdoing the other person and loving people just as they are. Apply this principle and thank Jesus Christ later. So the Bible says in Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Quit being jealous demonstrate love and you will get the attention. Precious one you don't need to be clean, prem and proper to come to Jesus Christ. Just as you are The Almighty God wants to hang out with you. This is what the LORD says: "I will return to Zion and dwell in Jerusalem. Then Jerusalem will be called the Faithful City, and the mountain of the LORD Almighty will be called the Holy Mountain." You don't have to be clean to come to Him. Once He comes into you He will clean you up. Glory to Jesus Christ. Hallelujah, Amen. Will you allow Him in?
