DIVINE RESTORATION

Nahum 2:2 For the land of Israel lies empty and broken after your attacks, but the Lord will restore its honour and power again.

War destroys the beauty of nations and cities that are attacked. The attack of Russia on Ukraine has rendered some of their cities, such as Severondonetsk Lysychansk, dead.

No one remains the same after an attack. Whether it is spiritual, physical, mental or emotional, it leaves a negative impact on the person or group of people. Israel was left empty and broken after the attacks of Assyria, but God, in His mercy, had a promise of restoration in mind. In place of emptiness, God says He will give honour. In your life, family, nation, business, health, academics, what attack have you experienced that has left you empty and without honour? Hear the word of the Lord; He will give recognition again. God is Honourable God, and he is at work this season to provide honour people and situations that circumstances and issues have rendered empty. Honour will come to you again.

The other effect of the attack was brokenness. In place of brokenness, God has promised to give power. It means when you are broken, what you need is power. Brokeness renders one powerless. What situation has made you vulnerable? It is the doctor's report, bank balance, debts, family issues, rent issues and so on. Dear one, you shall receive power. One sure nature of God is His power. God is powerful to give power. You shall remember the Lord your God, for He is the one that gives you the power to prosper. You shall receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. Receive the power of God.

Prayer: Lord Jesus Christ, I receive the honour and power you have promised to give now. Holy Spirit deposit in my spirit, mind, soul and body, all the Lord, have said in Jesus' name. Amen
