WHAT FIELD DO YOU REPRESENT?

Mark 4:20 But the good soil represents those who hear and accept God's message and produce a huge harvest—thirty, sixty, or even a hundred times as much as had been planted."

God is indeed a generous God. He scatters His seed which is the word of God, to everyone. To be profitable depends on what you do with the seed in your field. We presented are with four kinds of fields in our study today.

The first field mentioned is the footpath; on that field, when a seed is sown, birds eat it. These are people who receive God's word, but Satan at once comes to take it away. How does Satan take away the word sown at once? Where you walk, stand, and sit after receiving God's, give the devil access to take God's message away from you. Psalms 1:1 Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers. When you receive God's word, and you get involved with people, conversations, and activities that are ungodly definitely, you will give Satan access to take the word away. You forget all you have heard in God's word. The second field is the rocky field. Those in this category rock and roll with the word of God; they are very excited about what they have heard until they start facing persecution for what they believe then they begin to fall away. They are not able to stand for God's word and will.

Mark 4:18-18 Still others, like seed sown among thorns, hear the word;  but the worries of this life, the deceitfulness of wealth, and the desires for other things come in and choke the word, making it unfruitful. The word of God has the power to be fruitful in our lives but like the seed planted in a thorn, what we worry about, and our desires for wealth are reasons the word of God is not beneficial in our lives.  How, then, can we be fruitful with God's word? The last category gives us the answer. Mark 4:20 Others, like seed sown on good soil, hear the word, accept it, and produce a crop —some thirty, some sixty, some a hundred times what was sown." The only way to be productive with God's word is Acceptance. Acceptance is when we allow God's word to reach out to and interact with us. So instead of complaining and worrying about the issues of life, you declare the Word over your situation and speak the word of God concerning your case. That is how we produce thirty, sixty, and hundreds of God's Word sown in us. 

Prayer: Lord Jesus Christ, I speak that Satan will not take your word away from me; the issues of life will not take your word from me. I accept your word, and interact with it that I may be productive in Jesus' name. Amen.
