WORLDS APART

Isaiah 13:11 I will punish the world for its evil, the wicked for their sins. I will put an end to the arrogance of the haughty and will humble the pride of the ruthless.

John 15:19 The world would love you if you belonged to it, but you don't. I chose you to come out of the world, and so it hates you.
Mandy a 5th grader did understand this verse of the Bible to be in the world and not belong to it. Her mum asked how many classrooms you have in your school. She answered about 15. Mum asks have you been going to all the classrooms for lessons? She answered no. Her mum explains that even though she is in school she has been assigned a class with a teacher where she goes to learn and get the needed help. This is the same with believers we are in the world yes but in Christ Jesus in Him, we live, move, and have our being. If the Lord says He will punish the world the one who believed in Jesus Christ is not a part of it. Is for the wicked for their sin. All forms of sin equal wickedness including the ones we take pleasure in. The world will be punished for its evil and the wicked for sins. But there is a way to live in the world and not belong to it. That way is Jesus Christ. If you live in Him you can live in the world and not belong to it.

Prayer: Jesus Christ I come to you today. Permit me to live in you that I may not belong to the world in Jesus' name. Amen
