GOD WILL GET YOUR ATTENTION ANYWAY

Isaiah 17:7-8 In that day people will look to their Maker and turn their eyes to the Holy One of Israel.  They will not look to the altars, the work of their hands, and they will have no regard for the Asherah poles and the incense altars their fingers have made.

They are things that draw the attention of people no matter how people seem to be engaged. Some of them may be good or bad news. World events like the world cup, Olympics, eclipse of the moon or the sun get people's attention. Sometimes fire outbreaks, fatal accidents, natural disasters like earthquakes, tsunamis, heavy storms, wars, etc. Somehow they find their way to the masses these events just can't be ignored. Just as these things get to us anyway there is a day and time when God will get your attention anyway. Today a lot of things are craving your attention and you have given those things all the time and the attention they need ignoring God. God keeps calling without and there is no response. Revelation 3:20 Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me. Beloved you respond to your emails, social media notifications, updates from your phones, to respond to world events and trending news they have your attention but you do not give God the slightest chance. With all that is happening around you, you can still make time for God. Is a matter of choice and priority. Today a lot of things are happening that need your attention but on that day only one thing will be happening. All you will see is the son of God Jesus Christ coming in His glory. That day He will get your attention anyway because there will be nothing to behold except Him. He will ignore all who ignored Him unto destruction and give His attention to those who paid attention to Him and give them eternal rest. It does not matter how much attention you give Him that day. His attention and focus will be on the saints. Decide to be part of those who will get God's attention on that day. Repent believing in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour because He is the reason for that day.

Prayer: Lord Jesus Christ I come to you, have mercy on me, and forgive my sins. You have all my attention from today. Amen
