THE POWER THAT CAN'T BE ATTACKED

Isaiah 20:6 In that day the people who live on this coast will say, ’See what has happened to those we relied on, those we fled to for help and deliverance from the king of Assyria! How then can we escape?’"

The people at the coast relied greatly on Egypt and Ethiopia. But a time came when a nation more powerful than these nations captured them. That nation was so powerful that they could capture two nations at ago. The lesson from today's verse is that they are many powerful people whom we run to anytime we are in need. Some of these people may be powerful spiritually, financially, academically, they may be people with influence, and so on. But ultimately we have to understand that there is a limit to what a person can do for you. The ultimate power we have to rely on is the power of God. Isaiah 20:1 In the year that the supreme commander, sent by Sargon king of Assyria, came to Ashdod and attacked and captured it. Ashod means powerful yet powerful was attacked and captured. No matter how powerful a human being is he or she can be captured by a more powerful person. That is why you must solely rely on God for any help. Is only God that has the power that cannot be attacked. That is why the Bible says in
Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? If a human being is for you something can be against you but if God be for you nothing can be against you. Rely soly on the power of God that cannot be attacked by any other power. As a matter of truth, they don't dare God's power.

Prayer: Father in the name of my Lord Jesus Christ I declare my total reliance on your power. Let this power give me every victory I need and deliver me all snares of the wickedness in Jesus' name. Amen.
