GOD OUR SALVATION

Isaiah 12:2-3 Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The LORD, the LORD himself, is my strength and my defense; he has become my salvation."
With joy, you will draw water from the wells of salvation.

We have a sure word of the Lord being our salvation. If the Lord is your salvation you must trust in Him and not be afraid. In the natural, we have confidence in anything that promises to save us. We believe in the drugs given to us by doctors because we believe it can save from our illness and diseases. In midst of chaos and danger, we trust security agencies that they have the power to save. These things we have confidence in can fail along the way, drugs expire and security personnel in the line of duty can be shot and die. But the Lord who is our strength and defense can not be overcome by anything. This is the kind of defense we need. Salvation is a full package of all we need for life godliness. There are wells of salvation from which we must draw the water of life. But we draw with joy. We don't receive from the Lord with the heaviness of heart but with joy.

Prayer: Jesus Christ thank you for being Salvation, strength, and defense. Fill me with joy to be a full beneficiary of the wells of salvation in Jesus' name. Amen
