THE BASIC TEACHING ABOUT THE BIBLE

Romans 15:4 For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope.

The Bible is made up of history, narrations, the biography of people, places, and events with God at the center of it all. Every message in the bible from the old testament to the new is relevant to lives and has something to teach us. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. The basic teaching of the bible is endurance. In the Bible what separated those who succeeded and those who failed was endurance. Everyone who ended up as a useful tool in the hand of God had to endure one thing or the other. Jesus Christ had to endure to receive the glory. Endurance is the measure of a person's stamina or persistence in God's word. Those who believed in God's Word to the very end to see the manifestation thereof are known as people of endurance. Endurance brings encouragement. Be encouraged by the outcome of the life of those who endured. Salvation is for those who endure to the very end. Endure to win the victory. Matthew 24:13 but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.

Prayer: Holy Spirit gives help me to endure all that God has said to the very end in Jesus' name. Amen.
