SENT

Romans 10:13-15 "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!"

The grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men and anyone that calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. The greatest thing God did for humanity was to send His only beloved Son Christ Jesus to die for the sin of the world. One would have thought that settles the case and God in His infinite power after the resurrection of Christ who had the power to pass through doors can reach the whole world. Even after the ascension of Christ, the Holy Spirit which is omnipresent can be everywhere convicting people of their sins and leading many to Christ. But that never transpired. God relegated the duty of reaching out to the world to believers. Until we go salvation will not reach many. You can preach because you have been sent by Christ Jesus to go to the places His feet never touched. Matthew 28:18-20 Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
When your feet touch a ground where Christ never went in person is just like Christ visiting that town. The feet Christ steps in a town when your feet touch there.  And that is enough to bring condemnation to that town. Luke 10:10-12 But when you enter a town and are not welcomed, go into its streets and say,  ’Even the dust of your town we wipe from our feet as a warning to you. Yet be sure of this: The kingdom of God has come near.’  I tell you, it will be more bearable on that day for Sodom than for that town. The opposite of this is also true that Christ will condemn believers if we fail to share the gospel. Luke 10:3 Go! I am sending you out like lambs among wolves.

Prayer: Lord Jesus I respond to the call to go. Holy Spirit be my help as I carry out this divine assignment in Jesus' name. Amen
