LIFE OF THE MORTAL BODY

Romans 8:11 And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you.

What kills the mortal body while you are alive is not sickness, poverty, or malnutrition. Sin is the problem of the mortal body. We were created to live in God's righteousness thus his presence. Genesis 2:8 Now the LORD God had planted a garden in the east, in Eden; and there he put the man he had formed. There is the spirit that raised Christ from the dead which is living in us called the Holy Spirit. One work of the Holy Spirit is that it authenticates us as children of God. Romans 8:15-16 The Spirit you received does not make you slaves so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him, we cry, Father." The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children.
Another thing that the Holy Spirit also does is He gives life to our mortal bodies that is He subdues the power of sin and leads us in the path of righteousness as the father desires. Romans 6:11-14 In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus. Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its evil desires. Do not offer any part of yourself to sin as an instrument of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer every part of yourself to him as an instrument of righteousness. For sin shall no longer be your master because you are not under the law, but under grace.
You can't have insecticide at home and allow insects to bother you. Sin is an insect and its repellent is the Holy Spirit. Arise in prayer, in word and fellowship with the Holy Spirit to conquer sin.

Prayer: Lord Jesus Christ I arise in the power of the Holy Spirit at work me and I decree and declare that sin will not reign in my mortal body in Jesus' name. Amen
