IT IS WELL

Isaiah 3:10 Tell the righteous it will be well with them, for they will enjoy the fruit of their deeds.

This is where the popular saying it is well came from. It is well has now become a cliche used by all in all circumstances. No, it is not for all. Yes, it is well but not for everybody. It is well with the righteous.
The whole chapter of Isaiah three talks about the sins of the people of Judah and the wrath of God that is to come upon them. It looked like the wrath of God was upon all the people. But in verse ten, the Lord had a message for the righteous. The fact that evil abounds does not mean everyone is evil. The righteous are also present. Sometimes it looks like evil is winning and the righteous is shattered but the Bible says tell the righteous it is well with them, they will enjoy the fruit of their deeds. Every deed will be rewarded whether is good or evil. In the midst of all that was happening God paused and said tell this to the righteous. Keep doing what pleases the Lord your reward awaits you.

Prayer: Father I thank you for your promises. Continue to grant grace to stand with the truth to the very end in Jesus' name. Amen.
