REIGN WITH CHRIST

Isaiah 9:6 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

In the past, he humbled the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, but in the future, he will honor Galilee of the nations, by the Way of the Sea, beyond the Jordan. These nations had been in darkness because of their sin but by the prophetic word of the Lord a time for their release was due.
Isaiah 9:2 The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of deep darkness, a light has dawned. This prophecy will be fulfilled through the birth of a child who will go to be a son who rules in the Land. He will be in charge of affairs and as he rules these are the traits of leadership he will possess. His counsel would be wonderful. Mark 1:22 They were amazed at his teaching, for he taught as one who had real authority—quite unlike the teachers of religious law. Jesus Christ was Mighty in His day. He healed all kinds of diseases and infirmities plus casting out demons which were rare in His times. He is an Everlasting Father because when he died He rose again and lives on forever. And He is the Prince of Peace. No wonder He says in John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. So in all Jesus Christ is Counselor, Mighty God, An Everlasting Father, and being a Prince of Peace is all you would need if you also want to reign in life.

Prayer: Jesus Christ you reign all things in the affairs of men. I plunge into that power to reign with you in your matchless name have I prayed. Amen.
