SLAVES OF GOD

Romans 6:22 But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life.

Being a slave of God comes with benefits, unlike earthly slavery. Holiness is one of these rewards. Being holy has nothing to do with what you eat, wear, hairstyle, or any other thing you do. It is a benefit of the pardon we receive from Christ Jesus when he forgave us our sins and the result of this Holiness is eternal life and eternal life is Life. Hebrews 12:14 Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness, no one will see the Lord. This holiness being talked about here is Jesus the way leading us to God. John 14:6 Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. You don't have life until you have experienced the life given by Jesus Christ which is eternal life.

Prayer: Lord Jesus Christ I come to you for Holiness that qualifies me to see God. Thank you for this privilege. Amen
