THE PLEA OF THE DEAD

Luke 16:27-28 "He answered, ’Then I beg you, father, send Lazarus to my family,
for I have five brothers. Let him warn them so that they will not also come to this place of torment.’

Hell is not a place you should even wish for your enemies. Sad to say some will eventually end up in Hell. The realities of heaven and hell is experiential. The rich man in this parable calls hell a place of torment. And he was pleading with father Abraham to send Lazarus to family, friends, business partners so they don't end up like him. What will make you appreciate the realities of heaven and hell is not anything dramatic; it is a simple appointment with death which happens every second. Lazarus died and the rich man also died. Some of your relatives are dead and gone you will also die and go. Some of them are pleading on your behalf for a saint to be sent to warm of this place of torment. This man was has become an intercessor in hell. In eternity intercession seize but happens over there is judgment. Dead people are pleading to be sent back into the world to become evangelists but the answer is No. Luke 16:29-31 "Abraham replied, ’They have Moses and the Prophets; let them listen to them.’ "’ No, father Abraham,’ he said, ’but if someone from the dead goes to them, they will repent.’ "He said to him, ’If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.’"  The man is saying no in hell to father Abraham because he was there and did not listen. He was requesting for something more dramatic to happen so his family would believe and be saved but that will never happen. What will lead to your salvation is not anything dramatic; it is simply about you hearing the word about Christ Jesus. And the word of Christ abounds to you from the radio, television, Internet, and from the mouth of the servants of God. Listen and be saved. No Lazarus is coming from heaven preach you, the words of the servants of Christ Jesus now on earth is enough to book you a ticket to rest in Abraham's bosom.

Prayer: Lord Jesus Christ, I accept to hear your word through your servants that abound here on earth. Holy Spirit lead to a faithful shepherd of Christ. Amen.
