THE FATHER'S DESIRE FOR YOU

Luke 12:31-32 But seek his kingdom, and these things will be given to you as well.
"Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom.

We often seek a fraction of what the father desires for us. We seek what to eat, wear and drink. These things preoccupy our thoughts and our father cautions us, that is not the way we should go. Luke 12:30 For the pagan world runs after all such things, and your Father knows that you need them. Your father knows your every need and will provide for you. The father wants us to have the Kingdom of God. The kingdom is the totality of all we need. Once we seek the Kingdom of God He is willing for us to have it all. It pleases the father for us to have it all. The prodigal son requested a share of his estate and left the kingdom but what he took away was not enough to keep him for the rest of his life. Eventually, he had returned to the kingdom. There is no satisfaction outside the kingdom. In the kingdom, we have it all.

Prayer: Lord Jesus Christ, I accept the challenge to seek your Kingdom and to have it in Jesus' name. Amen
