RESOLVE TO ENTER INTO YOUR GLORY

Luke 9:51-53 As the time approached for him to be taken up to heaven, Jesus resolutely set out for Jerusalem. And he sent messengers on ahead, who went into a Samaritan village to get things ready for him; but the people there did not welcome him, because he was heading for Jerusalem.

When your set time for glorification is approaching there are things you must resolve to do no matter what it takes. For Jesus Christ, Jerusalem will be the worst place for him to dwell since it was in that town where He would be killed but it there that will bring His glorification too. In His preparation to enter glory, He did not get the needed help from the people of Samaria. Am sure he needed some donkeys to ride on but He was denied because the folks of Samaria knew He was entering Jerusalem. Most often you will meet a lot of trials and denial on your way to the top. You will run out of Human and material resources. This did not prevent Jesus from going to Jerusalem, when they denied Him donkey He trekked on foot to Jerusalem. And as He journeyed on foot he met people who He ministered to. Don't give up when people seize to help you on your journey to the top. If you expected a ride from them, and they deny you of that go by the foot. God is your ultimate help. Luke 19:37-39 When he came near the place where the road goes down the Mount of Olives, the whole crowd of disciples began joyfully to praise God in loud voices for all the miracles they had seen:  "Blessed is the king who comes in the name of the Lord!" "Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!" Some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to Jesus, "Teacher, rebuke your disciples!"
It took 10 chapters from Luke 9 to Luke 19 before Jesus triumphantly enter Jerusalem but He eventually entered with the help of God. From Chapter 9 to 19 Jesus continued with His life assignment until the time came when He entered Jerusalem His life did not end in Chapter nine because He did not get help. You are ultimately destined for the top.
Deuteronomy 28:13 The LORD will make you the head, not the tail. If you pay attention to the commands of the LORD your God that I give you this day and carefully follow them, you will always be at the top, never at the bottom. Don't let your dream die at the point men fail to help you rather let it thrive with the help of the Lord.
