THE ALL-TIME GOOD NEWS

Luke 2:10-11 But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people.
Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.

There is a difference between news and good news. News just informs us about happenings around us, sometimes it is bad and at other times they seem good. The good news from men are directional. What may be good news for someone may be demoralizing for another person. But this particular news handed down from heaven the shepherd news anchors was good news for all people. The good news is not limited to bring joy to a selected few but to all humanity. One amazing thing about the news is that it is constantly is a fresh news item, it is today's good news. It is good news in its present form to you. Dear reader this good news is for you. Today, now, a Saviour has been born to you, he the Messiah, the Lord. What it is means is that you have you a the deliverer, preserver, again you have the anointed he to whom a person or thing belongs, about which he has the power of deciding; the master. This is the all-time good news to you and all of humanity which you must rejoice in and embrace for your good.

Prayer: Lord I thank you for this good news. Jesus Christ forever be my saviour and Lord. Amen.
