A DAY OF DISTINCTION

Malachi 3:17-18 "On the day when I act," says the LORD Almighty, "they will be my treasured possession. I will spare them, just as a father has compassion and spares his son who serves him. And you will again see the distinction between the righteous and the wicked, between those who serve God and those who do not.

There is always a day when God acts on behalf of his people. The righteous can never be forsaken forever. There is a day when God will make a clear distinction between the righteous and the wicked. The Psalmist observed this in his life over the years and he had this to write in
Psalms 37:6-11 He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn, your vindication like the noonday sun. Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways when they carry out their wicked schemes. For those who are evil will be destroyed, but those who hope in the LORD will inherit the land. A little while and the wicked will be no more; though you look for them, they will not be found.  But the meek will inherit the land and enjoy peace and prosperity. Never envy the wicked your prosperity shall surely come.

Prayer: Lord Jesus Christ I thank you that in you I have all-round riches and prosperity. Amen.
