HOW TO BE A GOOD PERSON

Luke 6:45 A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.

The heart is a storage device like the hard disk, with an operating system and has input and output devices. The input devices feed the heart with information and the outputs are mediums through which the heart acts upon data received through the inputs. The operating system of the heart is the mind. What the operating system accepts is stored and saved on the hard disk. What your mind accepts becomes the standard or state of your heart.
The input devices of the heart are the eyes, the ear, and the nose. The major output device of the heart is the mouth just the screen of a computer is its major output. Other output devices of the heart are the hands and the legs. You realize that in the computer world the input device, output device, and hard drive are only modified in terms of size, shape, capacity, etc. But the operating system is constantly renewed. We use Windows 11 now but much has not changed about input and output devices. That is why the Bible says in Romans 12:2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. To have a heart that brings out good deeds you must constantly renew your mind with the word of heart. Once your mind starts accepting the word of God it becomes the standard for your heart to live on. The state of your heart determines what you say, where you go, what you touch, what you watch, and where you sit, what you wear, what you drink, what you eat, etc. These are the issues of life. Proverbs 4:23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. To be a good person who brings out good things constantly renew your mind with God's word. Once your minds accept it, it's become the state of your heart. Read Psalm one.

Prayer: Lord Jesus Christ I want to be a good person with a good heart like you and  I know the solution is your word. Holy Spirit teach me the truth of your word to constantly renew my mind to be a person with a good heart in Jesus' name. Amen
