WHAT SPIRIT IS AT WORK IN YOUR RELATIONSHIP?

Luke 1:26-27: Now in the sixth month [of Elizabeth’s pregnancy] the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a city in Galilee called Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, a descendant of the house of David; and the virgin’s name was Mary.

This message is from the Lord to all who are in a relationship in this generation. Mary and Joseph were also in a relationship getting ready to marry but they were not sleeping around. Mary and Joseph were both virgins. This error is destroying our generation and marriages at a very fast rate. For the fear of the unknown, we want to have sex with each other to be sure of each other's sexuality. Dear, Mary also had the same fear she asked, how can this be since am a virgin( I have not had sex with any man before including Joseph my fiancee). The commitment, love, joy, peace, children, fidelity you want in that relationship does not come by sexual intercourse it comes by the Holy Spirit. The angel told Mary the Holy Spirit shall come you and the power of the Highest will overshadow you shall conceive. What we need in our relationships is the overshadowing power of the Holy Spirit not the overshadowing weakness of sex. The cheating, lies, beatings, brake ups, jealousy, and all the other negatives in our relationships will end if we will all yield to the Holy Spirit. Galatians 5:19-23 When you follow the desires of your sinful nature, your lives will produce these evil results: sexual immorality, impure thoughts, eagerness for lustful pleasure, idolatry, participation in demonic activities, hostility, quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, divisions, the feeling that everyone is wrong except those in your little group, envy, drunkenness, wild parties, and other kinds of sin. Let me tell you again, as I have before, that anyone living that sort of life will not inherit the Kingdom of God. But when the Holy Spirit controls our lives, he will produce this kind of fruit in us: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Here there is no conflict with the law. What you are experiencing in your relationship determines the kind of spirit controlling that relationship. The angel and the favor of God come to those who stay pure in their relationships.

Prayer: Father in the name of Jesus let thy Holy Spirit overshadow me so I will not compromise sexually in any relationship I find myself in from now by your Grace and Mercy in Jesus Name. Amen.
