I NEVER KNEW YOU

Luke 10:17 &20: The 72 returned with joy and said, Lord, even the demons submit to us in your name.  However, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.

The source of our joy should not be what we can do in His name rather we should rejoice that our names are written in heaven. You can do many things in His name and still miss heaven. Matthew 7:22-23 Many will say to me on that day, ’Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’
Then I will tell them plainly, ’I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’ It is more important for Jesus to know you than to be known as a miracle worker. The many miracles you performed plus the many other things you do for Him will not impress Him. Does Jesus know you? Those He does not Know He call evildoers.
Miracles and signs minus a relationship with Jesus Christ is called evil-doing. People will know you by the miracles you do but God knows you by relationship.  Your joy should be that you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, walking in the will of God and you are at peace with the people around you.

Prayer: Lord help me focus and my relationship with you and others first in Jesus Mighty name. Amen
