THE RICH AND ETERNITY

Mark 10:27: Jesus looked at them and said, "With man, this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God."

What led to Jesus making this statement was a conversation he had with a rich guy who wanted to follow him but was not willing to give up his riches. (Read Mark 10: 17-27). When Jesus said it was difficult for the camel to enter the eye of a needle than a rich person entering into the Kingdom of God, the disciples were astonished. They asked who then can be saved? Because they had the vision of becoming rich following Jesus. The response Jesus gave brought comfort to them; with man this is impossible but with God this is possible! When you are rich and you are with God, your riches will not lead you to hell but to Heaven because God will guard your heart and direct you in the way you disperse your money. You will give to things that will bring glory to the Lord and his kingdom. With Jesus, it is possible to be rich and enter Heaven. 1Timothy 6:17-19 Tell those who are rich in this world not to be proud and not to trust in their money, which will soon be gone. But their trust should be in the living God, who richly gives us all we need for our enjoyment. Tell them to use their money to do good. They should be rich in good works and should give generously to those in need, always being ready to share with others whatever God has given them. By doing this they will be storing up their treasure as a good foundation for the future so that they may take hold of real life. Abraham was rich, Isaac was rich, Jacob was rich, Joseph was rich, David was rich and they all lived to please God and are in heaven. Why not you?  You can also be rich and make it to heaven.

Prayer: Lord as you bless me with riches guard and direct my heart so I will use it to bless your work and the poor in Jesus name. Amen

  1. I've always been confused about that statement that Jesus made until I read this today. I thank God that He is able to help me still please Him regardless of the blessings He'd give me. Hallelujah 🙌.

  2. One of brother asked me one question concerning the Richman and Lazarus. He said he doesn't understand purposely why the Richman went to hell and Lazarus to heaven. Generally , his mind was because of the richness the man was that's the reason why he went to hell, meaning rich people can't enter the kingdom of God. I explained it well to him but he didn't concord, because it was a mere teachings but with this view, I hope he may understand me now.
    Glory be to God 🙏🙏🙏
