UNBELIEF HINDERS THE POWER

Mark 6:4-5: Jesus said to them, Only in his hometown, among his relatives and in his own house is a prophet without honor. He could not do any miracles there, except lay his hands on a few sick people and heal them.

The people of Nazareth knew Jesus and His family background. So they refused to believe what God was using His life to do. Don't fall into that same error, there are people in our family and among your loved ones who God has gifted in a special way to be a solution to your problems. But they can't do much for you if you keep reminding them of their childhood errors, background and challenges. Their past is gone, what is important is their relevance now to you and the society at large. Jesus had to move out and stop doing his good works at Nazareth because they kept playing his old tracks and they did not believe in him. Even though He had me become a Saviour and a miracle worker they only knew Him as the son of a carpenter and the brother of James. Jesus is more than a carpenter's son, He is the risen King, the Living Saviour, the Resurrection and the Life. In Him we live move and Have our being.   2 Corinthians 5:16 So we have stopped evaluating others by what the world thinks about them. Once I mistakenly thought of Christ that way, as though he were merely a human being. How differently I think about him now!
There are people in your family among your friends who can help you with that challenge, idea, business, marital challenge, school, and so on who have redrawn because of your unbelief. You pay huge sums of money and go through a lot of stress for services people around you could offer you either freely or at a lesser cost. Accept the fact that the person is not just a brother or a school mate, their status quo have changed!  Believe in the people God has gifted around you and see them do exploits that will benefit you and society at large.

Prayer: Lord open my eyes to see my family and friends you bring my way to lessen my burdens in life in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen
