WORTHLESS SHEPHERDS

Zechariah 11:17 "Woe to the worthless shepherd, who deserts the flock! May the sword strike his arm and his right eye! May his arm be completely withered, his right eye totally blinded!"

The art of shepherding is not something we just jump into. It is a high office and God is the one who chooses. You don't become a shepherd by choice or qualifications it is by the divine election of grace. The art of shepherding starts at home. You must be a faithful shepherd in your own life, home before God can entrust others to you. Today there a lot of people who cannot manage their own lives, family but have forced their way into becoming shepherds of the Lord. The curse of a worthless shepherd is very serious. They lack spiritual insight and knowledge. They don't carry any spiritual capacity because they lack heavens backing and because they themselves are blind they lead others astray also. That is why you have to be careful who your shepherd is? Is no longer about I was born into this denomination or this has been our family church all these years. You have to take the personal responsibility of sitting at the feet of a good shepherd after you have made the decision of believing in Jesus Christ. We don't know shepherd by the miracles, word, signs, or wonders they performed but we know them by the fruits they bear.  And these are the fruits you must watch out for.
Galatians 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things, there is no law.

Prayer: Holy Spirit in this era where many false shepherds abound lead to your good shepherds that will help build me up for my life here on earth and for eternity in Jesus mighty name Amen
