WHY YOUR FAITH IS UNPRODUCTIVE AND INEFFECTIVE

2Peter 1:5-8 For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

To make your faith in Christ Jesus complete and productive there are other attributes you must possess; goodness, knowledge, self-control, perseverance, godliness, mutual affection, love, and many other fruits of the spirit a believer must possess. These are the works of faith. 

James 2:20 You foolish person, do you want evidence that faith without deeds is useless? 

Your faith minus these qualities are dead works. These qualities make our faith complete and attractive and we must have it in increasing measure; thus we don't stop, we keep doing them as long as we profess our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. If you have faith little as a mustard seed or you have great faith as the Cedar tree and yet you are ineffective and unproductive it means you have not added these other ingredients to your faith. 

🛐 prayer: Holy Spirit I pray for faith that works with love plus all the fruits of the Spirit so my knowledge of Christ Jesus will be effective and productive Amen.
