TO THE YOUNG GENERATION

1Peter 5:5-6 In the same way, you who are younger, submit yourselves to your elders. All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because, "God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble."Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.

Is it not an Irony that the chief disciple of Jesus Christ is writing to young people about humility. Naturally, you will except young people to be humble, that should be the norm because they are of lesser rank and experience. But the opposite is what happens, the young generation is very proud and pompous and does not want to submit to God and authority. They don't take counsel from the elderly people and they don't want to tie on the servant's apron. If you cannot submit to God, you will always find it extremely difficult to submit to any human authority. The young generation must understand that lifting comes with service and rewards comes with time. Ask uncle Lucifer, pride will displace you and make you a king in Hell. It simply means pride will take you out of God's original plan for your life. The story of the prodigal son sums it all 
Luke 15:11-13 Jesus continued: "There was a man who had two sons. The younger one said to his father, ’Father, give me my share of the estate.’ So he divided his property between them. "Not long after that, the younger son got together all he had, set off for a distant country and there squandered his wealth in wild living. The reason why younger ask for his share was not for a profitable venture but for wild living.
Because wild living you have left home, drop out of school, sneak out of school, joined a cult, etc because of cheap fame. Beloved return home submits to God and authority now before you start struggling with pigs for food. Join the young and wise generation of Joseph's, Daniel's, Esther's, Gideon's, and the David's who submitted to God against the odds and lived a life that affected many generations.

 prayer: Holy Spirit I pray for the power to shun youthful lust and distractions. From today I purpose to live a life that will enumerate me among heavens young generation hall of fame in Jesus mighty name Amen
