HOW GENUINE IS YOUR FAITH?

1Peter 1:6-7 In all this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire may result in praise, glory, and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.

You have something more than gold. Your faith in Christ Jesus is more than gold.
1John 5:4 for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.
With your faith, you overcome the world. The trials we go through are a test of our faith. How genuine is your faith?  Genuine faith is that which overcomes trials and temptations. Trails are not enjoyable, they often bring us grief. But in the midst of the grief, the Lord is testing the genuineness of your faith. If you overcome the trials you face then definitely according to the word of God you have something more than gold. Isaiah 43:2 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.
God will not leave you alone in the midst of your trial. In the pit where you are to be buried He will cause merchants to come to your rescue, He will shut the mouth of lions for you and in the heat, He will be there to cool down the temperatures for you. Don't lose your faith keep confessing Jesus is my savior day by day.

 prayer: Lord Jesus Christ with you I overcome the world. I pray for the grace to stand in the midst of all my life trials and may I come out refined and pure as gold in Jesus mighty name Amen.
